Pharmacist

2nd shift - 5:30pm -2am Sunday - ThursdayThe Dispensing Registered Pharmacist who is responsible for the accurate and timely dispensing of prescribed medication to patients. The Dispensing Pharmacist work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.The Dispensing Pharmacist ensures adherence to quality assurance standards, accurate tracking techniques and a review process prior to shipping medications to patients. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.Required Qualifications:Bachelors of Pharmacy or PharmD degree from an accredited college of pharmacyLicensed as a PHARMACIST in state(s) of practiceAbility to participate in Federal prescription programsSelf-directed, but also able to work well in a groupAbility to solve problems and encourage others in collaborative problem solvingWork ethic that is focused, accurate, and highly productiveExcellent communication skillsProficient with computersMust be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiencesPreferred Qualifications:3 or more years experience in a high volume community or mail order pharmacy practice environment
