The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement processes and Medicaid systems, with the ability to assess current contracts and develop comprehensive procurement components.DutiesPerform detailed evaluations of existing contracts to identify areas of improvement and alignment with updated requirements. Develop procurement components, including drafting new contracts, service-level agreements (SLAs), and other critical documentation. Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather new requirements for the procurement package. Develop clear and precise procurement documents that reflect the goals, timelines, and requirements of the project. Ensure all procurement efforts comply with applicable NYS procurement laws and regulations, especially related to Medicaid systems. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure all elements of the procurement package are delivered on time and meet all specifications. Attend in-person meetings with client and other stakeholders as required. Mandatory QualificationsProven experience in procurement development, with specific expertise in government contracts. Strong familiarity with New York State government procurement processes is highly preferred. Ability to assess, develop, and manage complex contracts, SLAs, and procurement documentation. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, especially when interacting with government agencies. Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and deliverables. Capability to analyze existing contracts and develop new solutions based on evolving requirements. Preferred QualificationsExperience working with the public sector health entities.
