Their duties include researching automation techniques, testing new systems for efficiency and planning factory layouts to optimize production. Lead or assist in cost estimating process.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesEvaluate manufacturing processes based on quality criteria, such as efficiency and speedProvide cost estimations for new and existing projectsCreate, test and implement manufacturing processStudy production and machine requirementsDevelop and test effective automated and manual systemsDesign and install equipmentImplement manufacturing processes that result in high-quality products.Organize and manage manufacturing workflows and resourcesOptimize facility layouts, production lines, machine operations and network performanceResolve issues and delays in productionFind ways to reduce costs and maximize qualityTrain staff in new and existing processesCollaborate with other engineers, contractors and suppliersEnsure that manufacturing procedures follow safety and environmental regulationsUpgrade systems and processes with new technologyNecessary Education, Skills, And Competencies (including Licensing And Certifications)Bachelors degree in manufacturing engineering or similar field5 years experience as a manufacturing engineer or similar roleKnowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication methods and tool designFamiliarity with manufacturing equipment and quality assurance techniquesCommitment to health and safety standards and environmental regulationsWell-versed in relevant software (e.g. CAD, MS Office)Project management skillsProblem-solving abilityTeamwork skillsDegree in Mechanical Engineering or related fieldBenefits401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceVision Insurance Generous Paid time offEAP programEmployee referral program Free snacks on FridayCoffee and tea free dailyFree lunch when reaching sales goals Schivo Medical is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
