INTRODUCTIONThe Controller will oversee all financial operations of Moltus Building Group, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and sound fiscal management. This position plays a key role in working with the CFO to drive financial strategy, supporting operational decisions, and improving processes to ensure the company’s continued success.DUTIESThe below list of duties is not intended to be an all-inclusive list, nor is it arranged in order of priority. These duties are not meant to restrict initiative but rather describe minimum activities. The duties of this position shall range in complexity and nature depending on the needs of the department and company. Controller’s duties shall include, but not be limited to:Lead and manage all accounting and finance operations, including billings, A/R, A/P, payroll, job costing, and general ledger.Lead, mentor and evaluate the accounting department to foster growth and collaborationOversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings; prepare and analyze financial statements.Manage and evaluate ERP and accounting softwareAdministration and management of commercial credit card programMaintain and improve internal controls to safeguard company assets.Support project managers with timely financial reporting and participation in monthly job audit meetingsOversee cash flow management, forecasting, and budgeting.Partner with CFO to evaluate business performance and profitability across projects.Manage relationships with banks, bonding companies, and external CPA.Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and company policies.Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency.Contribute to strategic planning, forecasting, and financial modeling for new opportunities.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required5+ years of accounting experience or other equivalent industry accounting experience; construction industry experience strongly preferred.Deep knowledge of general accounting principles, job cost accounting, and Work-in-Progress.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Team-oriented with a proactive, dependable work ethicJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceDisability insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid sick timePaid time offParental leaveProfessional development assistanceVision insuranceWork Location: In person
