Deck builder subcontractor

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Deck Builder Subcontractor to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing high-quality decks that meet design specifications, ensuring safety standards, and delivering exceptional craftsmanship. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse residential and commercial projects, utilizing your expertise in carpentry, and finishing techniques. Responsibilities Interpret blueprints, schematics, and project plans to accurately execute deck construction projects Measure, cut, assemble, and install deck components using hand tools and power tools with precision. Perform concrete forming and finishing for foundation pads or steps associated with deck installations Install rebar reinforcement to ensure structural integrity of concrete elements Execute framing carpentry tasks including woodworking, trim carpentry, and siding installation to enhance deck aesthetics and durability Operate heavy equipment safely when required for site preparation or material handling Coordinate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining safety standards Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to follow detailed construction plans accurately Conduct masonry work such as stucco or plastering as needed for aesthetic or structural purposes Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery efficiently and safely Requirements Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on deck building or related carpentry roles Strong knowledge of concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry, roofing, siding, and restoration techniques Skilled in blueprint reading and interpreting schematics for precise project execution Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle various hand tools and power tools effectively Experience with metal stud framing, framing carpentry, trim carpentry, and remodeling projects is highly desirable Knowledge of heavy equipment operation is a plus Excellent understanding of construction management principles to coordinate tasks efficiently on-site Valid experience in construction management practices ensuring quality control and safety compliance Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients Join us as a Deck Builder Subcontractor if you’re passionate about creating beautiful outdoor spaces through expert craftsmanship!
