The SCS organization is focused on developing "Control Tower" solutions, managing end-to-end (E2E) supply chains, supporting both fourth party logistics (4PL)/lead logistics provider (LLP) and Order Management (OM) business models.The position will have a key focus on development, planning, and continuous improvement for the SCS product portfolio to actively engage with SCS global team and IT group, especially for OM business segment. The role translates business requirements into technical solutions and ensures maximum customer value from product delivery.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesGather, analyze, and document business needs into clear and comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRDs).Define project scope, objectives, and functional requirements for new features and enhancements.Facilitate stakeholder alignment and secure formal signoff on requirements and proposed solutions.Manage development projects by monitoring progress, timelines, and deliverables to meet business expectations.Provide regular project status updates and visibility to management and key stakeholders.Coordinate crossregional communication to ensure clarity, alignment, and successful execution of initiatives.Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to resolve system incidents and operational issues promptly.Conduct thorough testing, validation, and review of deliverables to ensure solutions meet business and quality standards.Deliver user support by explaining system functionalities, business processes, and operational rules.Provide training and guidance on system changes to support user understanding and adoption.Ability to travel up to 10% as well as work a Hybrid Schedule as required by company policy.QualificationsProven expertise (at least 3 years) directly managing or developing Control Tower solutions (e.g. Order Management or integrated supply chain solutions)Minimum 7 years of total experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or IT Product Management, and/or related rolesBachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent professional experienceExperience working with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly translate complex business needs into understandable requirementsDemonstrated ability to solve complex problems and manage issues/risks within structured processesProven experience collaborating within multinational organizations and across culturally diverse regionsAbility to work independently, prioritize multiple initiatives, and deliver results under pressurenStrong analytical and computer skills, with high attention to quality and detailStrategic thinker with strong execution capability and ability to drive business initiatives with a global perspectiveOffice Working ConditionsWork is primarily performed in an office environment with moderate noise levels (phones, printers, conversations).Involves prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and frequent use of computers and office equipment.Regular use of hands and fingers, including, but not limited to, typing, filing, frequent keyboarding, mouse clicking and handling documents.Occasional lifting or moving of office supplies or equipment up to 25 pounds.Requires strong analytical, decision-making, and critical-thinking skills.Must be able to read, interpret, and compose clear written and verbal communications.Visual acuity required for tasks including, but not limited to, computer work, document review, and data analysis.Must maintain strong organizational skills, confidentiality, and independent work habits.Adaptability to changing priorities and effective professional communication with colleagues and customers.Regular, punctual attendance and compliance with all company policies and procedures; occasional overtime may be required.On-Site Requirements: In-office presence required for meetings, team events and scheduled days.Must be able to work as part of a functional team including working in an office on a Hybrid Schedule as required by company policyBenefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision beginning the 1st of the month following start date401k with a company matchStandard 10 days PTOEligible for bonus plan7 Paid HolidaysEligible for OT pay if applicableFlexible Spending Accounts, Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance, Short & Long Term Disability, Tuition Assistance Program, Commuter Benefits, vacation, and much moreAbout Yusen Logistics (Americas)Yusen Logistics is working to become the world's preferred supply chain logistics company.
