This role supports the planning and execution of events across The Aspen Art Museum, offsite catering, and occasional restaurant buyouts.The Event Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring seamless event execution, supporting client communications, logistics, and on-site operations while delivering exceptional guest experiences.What MML Hospitality OffersSalary Range: $70,000 - $85,000Bonus PotentialPaid Time OffMML Property Discounts (Hotel, Restaurant, Retail)Beverage Education ReimbursementAdvancement and Promotion OpportunitiesCommunity Service OpportunitiesRelocation AssistanceMedical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Life, and Pet InsuranceRetirement BenefitsParental Leave What You'll DoSupport the Events team in coordinating weddings, corporate events, private parties, and fundraisersManage and respond to inbound inquiries via email, TripleSeat, phone, and in-person communication within 48 business hoursAssist in preparing catering proposals, contracts, and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)Coordinate event logistics, timelines, and vendor details to ensure smooth executionSupport venue site tours and assist with sales effortsCollaborate with Culinary and Beverage teams on menu planning and event detailsCoordinate with external vendors and assist with order placement, confirmations, and on-site executionEnsure all required permits, insurance certificates, and compliance documents are collected and organizedSupport adherence to Aspen Art Museum policies and event guidelinesAssist with inventory management of OS&E and event-related materials, including uniformsProvide on-site event support, including setup, execution, and breakdownMaintain accurate records in TripleSeat and other systemsAssist with event reconciliation in ToastParticipate in team meetings and cross-departmental initiatives Qualifications1-3 years of experience in events, hospitality, catering, or a related fieldStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentCustomer service-focused with a positive, team-oriented attitudeProficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (TripleSeat experience preferred)Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidaysAbility to travel locally as needed Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to stand for extended periodsAbility to move between locations and manage event setupsAbility to remain composed and effective under pressureReporting StructureReports to the Events Manager or Director of EventsWorks closely with culinary, beverage, operations, and museum teamsIf an offer is accepted for this position, a comprehensive background check will be required, which may include verification of employment history, education credentials, and criminal records.MML Hospitality is an equal-opportunity employer.
