Machine OperatorPhoenix, AZ Temporary/ContractDescriptionVolt is immediately hiring for Machine Operator in Phoenix, AZ. As a Machine Operator you will:Move loose or bundled pipe within the shop and yard.Assemble pipe orders (single sticks or bundles) and maintain organized work supplies.Follow safety precautions for fabricating, cutting, assembling, stacking, and shipping pipe.Operate powered industrial equipment per OSHA guidelines and procedures.Set up and maintain machines for pipe fabrication.Measure, record, and add random pipe lengths accurately.Measure and cut pipe using band saws or torches.Thread pipe using Landis machines.Inspect and maintain forklift equipment.This is a full time, Contract opportunity.The ideal candidate will have:6 months machine operationAbility to use and understand tape measures, use gauges for quality checksPreferred Skills & Qualifications:Experience with machinery for cutting and threading pipes.Capable of reading a tape measure accurately.3-6 months sit down forklift experience.Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour.*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
