Your day includes hands-on development, automation, and coordination with engineers and stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.Typical responsibilities include:Develop Java Spring Boot microservices using AWS native servicesBuild RESTful APIs capable of handling complex data selection and filteringUse Python to automate and optimize AWS resources such as Lambda, Step Functions, EC2, and S3Support a distributed microservices architectureImplement CI/CD pipelines using Maven, GitLab, and GitOps practicesParticipate in Agile development cycles and iterative releasesCollaborate closely with teammates to refine requirements and deliver solutionsEnsure applications meet performance, reliability, and security expectationsMinimum QualificationsClearance: Active Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (required)Citizenship: Must be a U.S. CitizenEducation and Experience:Bachelor's degree in a related discipline from an accredited college, OR equivalent experienceAt least 9 years of relevant experience, OR a Master's degree with at least 7 years of relevant experienceActive Top Secret clearance with CI polygraph issued within the last 5 yearsRequired SkillsCandidates should demonstrate experience in at least two of the following areas:Java Spring Boot and/or Python developmentJSON Schema design and implementationMicroservices architecture developmentCI/CD tools and practices including AWS tooling, Maven, GitLab, GitOps, Kubernetes, Docker, or AnsibleNoSQL databases such as MongoDB or DynamoDB, including query development and schema designOAuth or OIDC implementationAutomated testing frameworks such as Cypress or CucumberDesired SkillsExperience modernizing legacy systems into cloud-native platformsFamiliarity with container orchestration and DevOps practicesStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to communicate effectively with both technical teams and stakeholdersTechnology StackThis role leverages Java Spring Boot microservices, Python automation, AWS cloud services including Lambda, Step Functions, EC2, S3, and DynamoDB, REST APIs, Maven build tools, GitLab and GitOps pipelines, container platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes, configuration tools like Ansible, JSON schema validation, OAuth/OIDC security frameworks, and automated testing tools such as Cypress and Cucumber.CompensationCompensation Range: $169,000.00 - $218,000.00The salary range provided reflects an estimate based on current market trends and may be adjusted based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications.
