Job Title: Territory Manager / Dealer Development (Startup – Golf Cars, Florida)About the CompanyWe are a fast-growing startup launching a new golf car brand focused on creating a premium line, affordably priced unit to the dealer network. Our mission is to build a best-in-class dealer network across Florida and quickly capture market share in golf, lifestyle, and commercial segments. Role OverviewThis is a ground-floor opportunity to build a dealer network from scratch. You will be responsible for identifying, recruiting, onboarding, and growing independent dealers across Florida. This is a highly entrepreneurial, field-based role for someone who thrives on ownership, speed, and results. What You’ll DoBuild the Network (0 → 1)Identify and recruit high-potential dealers (golf car dealers, powersports, marine, RV, etc.) Open new markets and establish full statewide coverage Pitch and close dealer agreements independently Launch & Activate DealersOnboard new partners quickly and effectively Help set up showrooms, demo units, and merchandising Train dealer teams on product, pricing, and how to sell against competitors Drive Revenue ImmediatelyGenerate early sales through dealers and direct efforts where needed Support demos, events, and local activations (golf courses, communities, resorts) Work deals alongside dealers to build momentum Be the Market ExpertGather real-time market feedback on pricing, competitors, and product fit Identify opportunities in golf, gated communities, commercial fleets, and rentals Adapt strategy quickly based on what’s working Own the Territory Like a BusinessManage pipeline, forecasts, and dealer performance Make decisions with limited structure—help define the playbook as you go Partner directly with founders/leadership to shape growth strategy What We’re Looking ForProven experience in dealer development, outside sales, or territory management Background in golf cars, powersports, automotive, marine, RV, or similar strongly preferred Track record of hunting, closing, and building relationships from scratch Comfortable operating in ambiguity — startup experience is a big plus High energy, competitive, and highly self-motivated Must-HavesBased in Florida Willing to travel heavily (60–80%) Valid driver’s license Ability to manage your own schedule, priorities, and territory Compensation & UpsideBase salary + aggressive commission tied to dealer signings and sales volume Early-stage equity or performance-based incentives (if applicable) Vehicle allowance or company vehicle High growth potential as the company scales What Success Looks Like (First 6–12 Months)Signed and activated dealer network covering key Florida regions Strong early revenue through dealer channel Established brand presence in priority markets Repeatable playbook for dealer recruitment and growth Why This Role is DifferentYou’re not inheriting a territory — you’re building it Direct access to leadership and influence on strategy High autonomy, high accountability, high upside
