Sales Trainee/Account Executive

Medix is a national healthcare staffing agency with over 20 years of experience helping hospitals, clinics, and healthcare organizations across the country connect with the talent they need to deliver quality care.We’re currently seeking 2026 graduates and early-career sales professionals (1–3 years of sales experience) who are excited to build a career in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.As a Sales Trainee, you’ll learn the foundations of healthcare staffing sales and recruiting, gaining hands-on experience supporting healthcare organizations by identifying talent and building client relationships. With guidance from experienced leaders and a structured training program, you’ll develop the skills needed to grow into an Account Executive role, where you’ll manage client partnerships and help healthcare organizations solve critical hiring needs.What You’ll DoPhase 1: Learn the fundamentals of the Medix recruiting processIdentify qualified candidates through a number of creative outlets (i.e. job boards, networking groups, etc.)Assess candidates through phone screening, virtual interviewing, skills testing, and reference checksHeld to weekly quotas for phone screening, virtual interviewing, reference checks, weekly resume submissions, etc.Obtain and generate sales leadsParticipate in weekly progress meetings to determine product knowledgePhase 2: Sales DevelopmentParticipate in sales role playsParticipate in progress meetings to determine product and sales knowledgeAttend meetings with current account executives through shadowingContinue to participate in weekly progress meetings, coaching, role plays, etc.Cold call to set new meetingsBuild out territory with potential clients and identify prospectsPhase 3: Move into Account Executive roleMaintain and develop relationships with new and potential clients by building a strong network (joining associations, networking groups, social media, etc.)Obtain and generate sales leads and set new meetings with potential clients through cold calling, emails, messaging etc.Effectively sell Medix staffing servicesDevelop and execute a territory planNegotiate client contractsAssist, develop, and manage a team of recruitersHeld to weekly quotas for reachouts, cold calls, meetings, etc.Serve as point of contact for candidates and clients by resolving any issues that may ariseWho You AreA positive, service-oriented attitude with a passion for helping othersStrong communication skills (both written and verbal)Competitive mindset with a drive to succeedProven initiative and the ability to self-motivateMultitasking and time-management skills to thrive in a fast-paced environmentA strong interest in working within a results-driven culture, where you’ll meet and exceed visible KPIsBachelor’s Degree (preferred, but not required)No sales experience?
