Worth, TX; Albuquerque, NM; Denver, CO; Austin, TX; Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN; Midland, TX; Pittsburgh, PA; Atlanta, GA, Philadelphia, PA.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIESSet appointments same day, inspect within 24 hours and write estimate car sideDepending on location - appraiser is expected to write 6 to 10 estimates per dayEnsures proper vehicle tear downDetermine repair time allotments and required labor operationsMakes accurate repair/replace decisionsAssess and applies pre-existing damage, completes accurate total loss evaluationsNegotiates agreed price with shop decision maker and sets time bound expected completion date per Client GuidelinesReview and assess the validity of all supplement requestProactively provides customers with information regarding their vehicle's cost of repair estimate and explains claims/repair processMaintains accurate vehicle's cost of repair estimate and explains claims/repair processNegotiates advanced fees for tow, tear down, and storage on all vehicles that are determined to a financial total loss at a repair facility or tow yardProvide extraordinary customer service to all parties involved in the claims processOther duties as assigned by management or as needed.ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES?Performs other duties as assigned.When not in the field, assist quality assurance team and be available for desk appraisal work as wellQUALIFICATIONSEducation & LicensingBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred (but not required). Licenses as required, as needed. Professional certifications as applicable to line-of-business preferred. If the employee is required to obtain licensing applicable to their role, they will have 60 days to complete the training and testing.ExperienceFour (4) years of insurance or body shop experience required.Skills & KnowledgeGood technical knowledge of auto appraisalsKnowledge of client operations and labor regulationsExcellent oral and written communicationPC literate, including Microsoft Office productsAnalytical and interpretive skillsStrong organizational skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsExcellent negotiation skillsGood judgment and discretion skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and set prioritiesAbility to work in a team environmentAbility to meet or exceed Performance CompetenciesCCC One experienceWORK ENVIRONMENTMust be able to work independently. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and cost of specific location. For the jurisdiction noted in this job posting only, the range of starting pay for this role is ($60,000 - $70,000 annually).
