This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment who can balance data, cross-functional partnership, and customer strategy to improve forecast accuracy. You’ll work closely with Sales, Operations, customers, and overseas factories while helping shape smarter planning processes that directly impact business growth.What You’ll DoSupport the management and continually improve at the SKU-level for a rolling 12-month demand forecast for key customersProvide detailed reports and supporting information for the forecast and highlight changes from previous forecastsIndependently meet with Sales and Operations stakeholders on a weekly, monthly or quarterly basis to revise and develop customer forecasts and challenge numbers when necessaryFocus on improving current forecast accuracy, assessing quarterly with sales and operations teams with proposals for improvements in processWork cross functionally in weekly meetings to ensure ad hoc customer-exclusive forecast timelines are met within the limitations of supplier lead timesCommunicate with planning counterparts at key customers to understand seasonal ordering strategies, day to day ordering patterns as well as overall inventory strategy and shiftsOrganize separate customer forecasts by category, brand and department and recognize products’ differing performance in each customer or channelStudy statistical forecasts and help resolve issues in adjusting sales historyAid supply planner in writing purchase orders to factories in China as neededMentor junior demand planners in forecasting best practicesWho You AreBachelor’s degree in an analytical field, or equivalent working experience5+ years forecasting / demand planning experience in a fast paced environmentAn Excel master in data management and forecasting methodologies; expertise in Microsoft Word and PowerPointProficiency in Tableau or other data visualization software (i.e. Power BI, Qlik) preferredAbility to manage large data sets and extract meaningful insights to help drive business decisionsDirect experience with Amazon Vendor Central preferredDetail oriented and extremely organizedStrong mathematical aptitudeStrong communication, organizational and time management skillsSelf-motivated with a strong work ethic and exceptional drive for resultsBenefits At Leapfrog15 days Paid Time Off your first year, and an additional day each year thereafter (up to 25 days), as well as company paid sick days, holidays and parental leave optionsMedical, dental, and vision insurance as well as commuter benefits and additional voluntary benefitsAnnual bonus payouts for all salaried employees, and up to a 5% 401k match with no vesting periodSummer Fridays - from Memorial Day to Labor Day enjoy half days every FridayLearn more about life at Leapfrog and our benefits by visiting us at www.leapfrogbrands.comLeapfrog is currently operating under a hybrid work model, and this position will report on site to our Lincoln Park office at least 2 days per week. Please do not apply if you are not comfortable with a hybrid work model.Salary Band$80,000 - 90,000, full-time, salaried, exempt, hybridPlease note: Most candidates can expect to be positioned within the low to mid-range of the designated compensation band. This approach is designed to set realistic expectations while providing employees with the opportunity for growth and development within their roles.
