Work on this program takes place in Herndon, VA and in various field offices throughout Northern VA (we cannot support remote work), and requires a TS/SCI + Polygraph clearance (acceptable to this customer).What You'll Be OwningGRVTY is seeking a Cyber Security Project Engineer with a TS/SCI + Poly clearance (applicable to this customer) to join one of our top projects in Herndon, VA.The Sponsor provides a highly technical and in-depth penetration testing service, in support of enterprise cyber security equities. In this capacity, the Cyber Security Project Engineer will support specializing in penetration testing and ethical hacking, to target, assess, and exploit risk and vulnerabilities of information systems. The intent is to provide senior decision makers with documented and actionable data to aid in making strategic investment decisions.What You Must HaveActive TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance (applicable to this customer)Demonstrated work experience in cyber security or related IT fieldDemonstrated experience with cyber penetration testing Demonstrated experience leveraging adversarial tactics to conduct hands-on security testingDemonstrated experience applying computer attack methods and system exploitation techniquesDemonstrated working knowledge of cyber security principles for Linux, Windows, and virtual platformsDemonstrated experience designing, testing, or implementing IT security architecture Demonstrated experience performing network security analysisDemonstrated experience analyzing network architectures Demonstrated experience using network management toolsDemonstrated experience developing risk management methodologiesDemonstrated experience analyzing test results to develop risk and threat mitigation plansDemonstrated experience testing or reviewing system configuration, development, and design specifically around enterprise systems and hypervisorsDemonstrated experience designing, testing, or implementing complex Windows installationsWhat Would Be Nice To HaveA Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related scientific or technical disciplineDemonstrated experience participating in public and private information security groups and organizationsDemonstrated experience communicating vulnerability results and risk posture to senior executivesDemonstrated experience performing complex technical tasks with minimal directionDemonstrated experience with Google Cloud Computing ServicesDemonstrated experience with cloud services and infrastructureOne or more of the relevant certifications: Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), Global Information Assurance Certification Penetration Tester (GPEN)Pay Range: At GRVTY, we understand that compensation is influenced by many factors—such as geographic location, federal contract labor categories, wage rates, prior experience, skillsets, education, and certifications.We’re proud to offer a work environment that empowers our team to achieve a strong work-life balance.
