We are currently seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our in-house rehabilitation team. This role is ideal for a compassionate, experienced therapist looking to make a meaningful impact with a flexible schedule.Key ResponsibilitiesAddress patient needs related to daily living and functional independenceDevelop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based interventionsDeliver occupational therapy services to enhance safety, mobility, and performance in ADLs and IADLsTeach patients adaptive strategies and task modifications to improve engagementRecommend and train patients in the use of adaptive equipmentEducate family members and caregivers on home care strategiesDocument patient assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summariesMaintain communication with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated careFollow up on patient progress and adjust interventions as needed QualificationsBachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited programCurrent license to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of PennsylvaniaStrong clinical knowledge of therapeutic principles and treatment methodsFamiliarity with ADL evaluation tools and adaptive equipmentExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative clinical teamPrior experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred What We OfferIn-house therapy team with a focus on clinical excellenceSupportive and collaborative interdisciplinary work environmentFlexible PRN scheduling based on your availabilityStreamlined electronic documentation systemOpportunity to work in a resident-centered, values-driven facilityNewport Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
