About the Role: The Revenue Cycle Coordinator provides customer service to our three thriving dental clinics by overseeing the full revenue cycle—from patient intake to final payment. This includes ensuring accurate billing, timely collections, and proper management of insurance claims, all while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. This role plays a vital part in the financial health of the practice, and we’re seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment—someone who can work independently while also valuing teamwork and collaboration. If you’re detail-oriented, results-driven, and eager to learn, we’re happy to provide hands-on training—even if you have little or no dental experience! This is a fully in-person role based at our administrative office. How You'll Help Our Patients Live Longer, Happier Lives: Ensure compliance with insurance regulations, practice policies, and industry standards. Verify insurance benefits using multiple avenues- online portals, over the phone, reading benefit booklets, etc. Enter accurate and detailed insurance benefit information into patient accounts. Review and process insurance claims for accuracy, ensuring timely submission. Interpret and enter Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and payment remittances. Apply payments, write-offs, and adjustments to patient accounts. Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and work with insurance companies to resolve discrepancies. Communicate with patients to resolve billing inquiries and assist with payment arrangements. Collaborate with the clinical and administrative teams to address billing issues and enhance revenue cycle processes. Adapt to changes in insurance policies and billing practices and stay up to date on industry trends and best practices. Who We're Looking For: Flexible availability – able to work shifts between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., including some Saturdays (no Sundays). Please apply only if you meet this availability. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work effectively with patients, insurance companies, and internal teams. Strong negotiation skills to resolve payment disputes and secure accurate reimbursement from insurance providers. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy in all tasks. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. A proactive mindset and the ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Who You Are: Experience in dental revenue cycle management or a similar role. Proficiency with practice management and claims software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental). Solid understanding of dental billing codes, insurance claims processing, and payment reconciliation. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR). Knowledge of healthcare compliance standards, including HIPAA and patient privacy regulations. Ready to take the next step?
