About The JobAs a Field Application Engineer, you will be responsible for enabling customers to use Nordic technology in a variety of exciting applications. You will be a key technical resource for our internal and external teams.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and present Nordic Semiconductor’s value propositionUnderstand the customer applications and use casesWork with Regional Sales Managers, distributors, and representatives to design-in Nordic solutions at customersRespond to technical inquiries and provide solutions in a timely mannerTechnical expert in the Sales teamDeveloping and owning key technical relationships with customersQualification And SkillsBS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similarMinimum 4 years of embedded software development experience with an understanding of embedded hardware including digital and analog circuitsExperience with ARM microcontrollersMinimum 2 years of successfully supporting customer product developmentExperience working with wireless protocols such as Bluetooth Low Energy, Wi-Fi, Thread, Zigbee, and cellular technologiesExperience working with software to interface IoT devices with cloud software services such as AWS and AzurePersonal SkillsStrong customer communication skills in English, written and spokenAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to take ownership of assigned tasks and work with minimal supervisionAbility to collaborate effectively with team members and other departmentsWorking for NordicWorking for Nordic Semiconductor, you will be inspired and supported to develop yourself.
