Machine Operator

Overview: Job Summary We are currently hiring Machine Operators for a Temp-to-Hire opportunity in Richmond, VA. This position is ideal for an experienced machine operator who is dependable, punctual, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating and monitoring production equipment, ensuring machines are running efficiently, maintaining product quality, and following established safety and production procedures. Schedule Day Shift: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Night Shift: Monday – Friday | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently Set up, adjust, and operate machinery according to production requirements Monitor equipment during production and identify potential issues Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specifications Follow production schedules and work instructions Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow all company safety policies and procedures Communicate production issues or equipment concerns to supervisors Work with team members to meet daily production goals Assist with other production duties as needed Skills and Experience: Required Skills & Experience Minimum 1 year of previous machine operator experience required Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred Ability to follow instructions and established procedures Strong attention to detail Reliable transportation Reliable and punctual attendance Strong communication skills Ability to work well with others Positive can-do attitude Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment Willingness to learn new processes and responsibilities Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is: Punctual and dependable Experienced operating manufacturing equipment Motivated and hardworking A positive, team-oriented individual An excellent communicator Comfortable following directions and company procedures Detail-oriented and safety-conscious Able to maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment Flexible and willing to assist the team when needed Ready to build a long-term career opportunity Benefits: Don't miss this chance to enhance your experience in a production environment while enjoying competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.
