The position is with our vibrating wire piezometer installation team doing the following:Travel to mine sites and work with drill crews to install specialty geotechnical and hydrogeology instruments in drill holes including vibrating-wire piezometers and TDR cable at various sites mostly in Arizona and in the western USSet up data loggers, collect and process dataPrepare technical documentation and reporting of field and analysis workQualifications5+ years of work experienceBackground working with tools and machinery in a mining, engineering, construction, mechanical, or a related fieldProficiency with computers including Microsoft Office productsProficiency in Excel including ability to modify worksheets, modify formulas, and create chartsComfortable in working with a wide variety of hand and battery powered toolsGood communications skills (oral and written)A natural problem solver with an engineering mindsetTeam playerWilling to travel domestically and internationallyMust have a clean driving record and be able to pass a Department of Transport medical examinationMust be willing to travel up to 75% of the timeWilling to work day- or night-shift as neededAll candidates must legally be authorized to work in the USAPreferredUndergraduate studies in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) fieldWork truck and light trailer driving experienceMining experienceEngineering field experienceAdditional InformationStarting Pay$25–$30 per hour, depending on prior experience and education.BenefitsComprehensive full-family medical, dental, & vision insurance coverageLong-term disability, life insurance401k with 5%+ company matching contributionAnnual profit-share and merit bonusesPTO, Sick leave, and 9 observed holidaysPaid Maternity and Parental leaveFlexible scheduleContinuing Education assistanceProfessional Development FundAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
