Commercial Litigation Associate – Los Angeles (3rd–4th Year)A leading national law firm is seeking a 3rd–4th year associate (JD ’22–’23) to join its Commercial Litigation team in Los Angeles.This is a strong opportunity for a mid-level litigator to take on meaningful responsibility in complex business disputes within a highly collaborative and sophisticated practice.Key responsibilities:Handle complex commercial litigation matters in state and federal courtsManage written and document discovery processesDraft pleadings, motions, and other court filingsTake and defend depositions; prepare witnesses for testimonyAppear in court for hearings, case management conferences, and motionsSupport trial preparation and assist with settlement strategyCandidate profile:3–4 years’ commercial/business litigation experienceStrong legal writing and oral advocacy skillsComfortable working directly with partners and clientsExperience in depositions, motion practice, and discoveryPositive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-oriented mindsetTop academics requiredRequirements:JD from an ABA-accredited law schoolActive California Bar membership (or ability to waive in promptly)Why consider this role:Exposure to high-value, complex litigation mattersGenuine responsibility and client-facing opportunitiesCollegial, ambitious, and collaborative team cultureCompensation:$260,000 – $290,000 base salary (depending on experience)
