You want to contribute to an organization that serves its members and communities, and you embrace Golden 1’s values as you help shape data products that empower better decisions across the Credit Union.What You'll DoDevelops and implements data product strategy for data products within one or more data domains that align with the Credit Union’s data needs and strategic prioritiesServes as product owner in agile product lifecycle by conducting initial intake with data consumers and business partners, researching pertinent technical and business context, codesigning and scoping with Data Architecture and Data Engineering, prioritizing and sequencing data product backlogs, and facilitating release management of productsPartners closely with analyst teams, other data product users, business stakeholders, business leaders, and Corporate Strategy Team to identify and understand business needs, business strategy, and the corresponding proposed reporting and/or analytics solutions to be able to articulate relevant details in user stories and technical requirements that will guide efforts of data engineering teamsManages and prioritize data product backlog(s) by assessing business impact, level of effort, overall feasibility and fit in overall data platform architecture, conferring with Data Architecture Team and other technical teams as neededConducts research and analysis to align goals with development team and Data Program Management to prioritize user stories and plan sprints to deliver on data product strategyCommunicates and coordinates effectively with data product users and stakeholders to set appropriate expectations regarding timelines and deliverablesDevelops content and curate resources for stakeholders and end-users of data products including but not limited to data dictionaries/catalogs, data lineage, release notes and user guidesProvides support in developing and implementing data quality and governance policies, standards and checks to ensure reliability and accuracy in data within data productsServes as data product subject matter expert to determine data requirements for broader organizational projects and initiatives that require data input or output related to the assigned data product(s)Provides input and context in broader data platform planning regarding products to ensure optimal resource utilization and alignment with organizational prioritiesDevelops relationships, rapport and communication channels with stakeholders to ensure continuous dialog about opportunities to optimize the performance, usability, and value of data product(s)Provides support in the development and management of data-related policies, procedures, and standardsPerforms additional duties as assigned to support the success of the Enterprise Data Management Program, data governance and the continued evolution of data products within the organizationHandles other duties as may be assignedQualificiations And PreferencesBachelor’s Degree in area of specialty (Accounting, Mathematics, Business Administration, Information Technology, or similarly quantitative/analytical degrees) required5+ years of overall professional experience required3+ years of experience in product management, data product management, program management, systems analysis, analytics programs, data or business analysis, data engineering, or related fields requiredExperience in the credit union or banking industry highly preferredWhy Join UsGolden 1 Credit Union provides its employees a market-competitive and internally equitable total rewards compensation package through a variety of programs.
