Responsibilities
Human Resources Functions
Assist with recruitment efforts, including job postings, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews
Facilitate onboarding and orientation for new hires
Maintain employee records and ensure HRIS data accuracy
Support benefits administration and employee inquiries
Help implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with labor laws
Coordinate training and professional development initiatives
Assist with performance management processes and documentation
Safety Coordination Functions
Support the development, implementation, and enforcement of safety programs and policies
Conduct regular job site safety audits and inspections
Coordinate safety training, including OSHA compliance and toolbox talks
Maintain safety records, incident reports, and compliance documentation
Assist in incident investigations and recommend corrective actions
Ensure proper use and maintenance of PPE and safety equipment
Stay current on federal, state, and local safety regulations
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Occupational Safety, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2+ years of experience in HR, safety coordination, or a similar role (construction industry preferred)
Knowledge of OSHA standards and HR best practices
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
OSHA 30 certification (preferred or willingness to obtain)
