Associate Creative Director

Robert Half is seeking an Associate Creative Director (Design) for a fast-growing digital agency — a true player-coach role for someone who wants to lead creative while staying hands-on in the work.This is not a traditional ACD position. We’re looking for someone who has grown up in design, still enjoys executing, and is ready to step into a leadership role guiding a team.Why This Role Stands Out50/50 split between hands-on design and creative leadershipOpportunity to mentor and elevate a growing team (5–6 designers)Work across multiple industries (CPG, healthcare, B2B/industrial)Exposure to a wide range of work — from brand to performance to digital experienceHighly collaborative, fast-paced environment with strong growthWhat You’ll Be DoingHands-On Design (50%)Create performance-driven creative (paid social, digital campaigns, ads)Design landing pages and digital experiences with a focus on conversionContribute to brand identity systems and campaign conceptsWork daily in Figma and Adobe Creative SuiteSupport light motion/video work when neededCreative Leadership (50%)Guide and mentor designers across projectsProvide hands-on art direction and feedback to elevate workAct as a bridge between Creative Directors and the design teamSupport concepting, brainstorming, and project ownershipHelp ensure all deliverables meet a high creative standardWhat We’re Looking For8–10+ years of experience in a creative or agency environmentStrong design background required (not purely copy/art direction)Proven ability to balance execution and leadershipPortfolio showcasing work across:Brand/visual identityCampaign/performance creativeDigital/web/UX (beyond just product design)Proficiency in Figma + Adobe Creative SuiteExperience working across multiple accounts/projects simultaneouslyStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionallyThe salary range for this position is $100,000 - $140,000.
