Industrial Fabrication & Value-Added Processing Location: Remote / Hybrid Company Overview A leading industrial manufacturing organization specializing in tube fabrication, value-added processing, and engineered metal solutions is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive strategic growth and customer engagement across key industrial markets. This company partners with OEMs, manufacturers, and fabrication customers to deliver high-quality processing solutions and custom fabrication services tailored to demanding production environments. The Sales Manager will lead regional business development and sales activities while serving as a technical sales resource for fabrication and value-added processing services. This role combines strategic account management with hands-on customer engagement, supporting projects from initial opportunity through quoting, project coordination, and ongoing account growth. The ideal candidate brings strong industrial sales experience, technical manufacturing knowledge, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers, engineering teams, and production leadership. This position requires someone comfortable discussing fabrication processes, reading technical drawings, and identifying opportunities that align with operational capabilities. Key Responsibilities Business Development & Territory Growth: • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and market expansion. • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with OEMs, manufacturers, fabricators, and industrial accounts. • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through consultative and solution- based selling. • Expand existing accounts by identifying opportunities for additional fabrication and value-added services. Technical Sales & Customer Support: • Conduct customer visits, technical reviews, and project discussions to understand customer requirements. • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to align customer expectations with manufacturing capabilities. • Support quoting activities, pricing discussions, and project feasibility evaluations. • Assist customers with technical questions related to fabrication processes, materials, and production capabilities. Fabrication & Manufacturing Knowledge: • Leverage understanding of tube fabrication, welding, machining, cutting, and value-added manufacturing processes to support customer solutions. • Review customer drawings, specifications, and project requirements to ensure alignment with production capabilities. • Support project coordination efforts between sales, engineering, and operations teams. Sales Leadership & Reporting: • Support and mentor sales representatives and business development initiatives. • Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, pipeline reporting, and account activity tracking. • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer demand to identify growth opportunities. • Participate in strategic planning discussions related to pricing, contracts, and commercial initiatives. Cross-Functional Collaboration: • Work closely with operations, engineering, scheduling, and leadership teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project execution. • Support resolution of customer concerns, production challenges, or project delays when necessary. • Help drive continuous improvement in customer communication and sales processes. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred (or equivalent industry experience) • 7-10+ years of industrial sales, manufacturing sales, fabrication sales, or value-added processing experience • Strong knowledge of fabrication and manufacturing processes including tube processing, welding, machining, and cutting • Proven success developing new business and managing complex customer relationships • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills • Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings/specifications preferred • Experience working with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and reporting tools • Strong organizational, project management, and multitasking abilities • Ability to travel to customer and manufacturing sites as required Preferred Qualifications • Experience selling fabricated tube products or value-added metal processing services • Prior sales leadership or team management experience • Existing relationships within OEM, industrial manufacturing, or fabrication markets • Familiarity with quoting processes, contract review, and project-based manufacturing environments • Experience supporting fabrication projects from concept through production #MR123
