Control System DesignerResponsibilitiesUtilize CAD software to originate and produce drawings and 3D models of moderate to advanced complexity.3D modeling experience required (S3D preferred).Read, interpret, and generate complex design drawings with minimal engineering supervision.Walk down field systems, interpret field direction, generate design details, create new drawings, and modify existing drawings with minimal guidance.Direct, review, and approve work completed by other designers.Support development of:EstimatesSchedulesStaffing requirementsProgress reportsQuantity tracking reportsProject scope documentationScope of facilitiesBasic QualificationsU.S. Citizenship required.Working knowledge of:Federal codes and standards (including DOE Orders)State and local codesSpecialized engineering design standards for nuclear or industrial environmentsCombination of education and 10+ years of drafting/design experience within Engineering & Construction environments (Associate degree preferred).Nuclear experience preferred.Background in drafting/design within one or more of the following disciplines:ElectricalMechanicalStructuralCommunicationsArchitecturalFire ProtectionCivil
