We engineer for reliability, manufacturability, certification, and ease of deployment, delivering equipment that performs in challenging environments.The OpportunityTriex is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead product development across its Filabot and Massive Dimension brands. This role works with a high-impact engineering team and agencies spanning mechanical, processing, software, and UX disciplines.This is a fast-paced, execution-oriented leadership role focused on building reliable, certifiable, manufacturable products, and launching them successfully.Core ResponsibilitiesProduct Development & LaunchLead new product development from concept through production releaseDrive clear product architecture and cross-brand platform strategyEnsure successful launch readiness, including documentation, service guides, and support materialsDFM & Cost Engineering (Critical)Own design-for-manufacturability and cost optimizationReduce BOM complexity and improve marginsStandardize components across brands where possibleWork closely with operations and suppliers to ensure scalable productionSafety & Compliance OwnershipLead UL, CE, and other applicable certification processesOwn risk assessments, safety documentation, and regulatory complianceCoordinate with certification bodies and testing labsEngineering Process DisciplineImplement lightweight but effective engineering governance (ECO, version control, release gates)Improve documentation standards and product manualsEstablish clear ownership and accountability within the engineering teamVendor & Agency ManagementManage external design agencies (industrial design, UX)Oversee electrical, firmware, and specialized engineering partnersEnsure deliverables meet quality, cost, and timeline expectationsReliability & Continuous ImprovementImprove product robustness and reduce field failuresCreate structured feedback loops between support, sales, and engineeringProfileStrong mechanical engineering foundation with cross-disciplinary fluencyExperience leading small teams in hardware-centric environmentsDemonstrated success bringing products to market under certification constraintsDeep understanding of manufacturability and cost engineeringComfortable operating hands-on in a resource-constrained environmentCollaborative leadership style with clear accountabilityWhat It’s Like to Work at TriexWorking at Triex means operating in a hands-on, fast-paced environment where engineering quality and accountability matter.
