Applicants must be licensed LMSW in the state of Maryland in order to be considered* Position Purpose: The Clinical Therapist I’s responsibilities include providing intake, completing a full biopsychosocial assessment, creating a client-focused treatment plan, providing community referrals as appropriate, and facilitating psychotherapy sessions and Employee Assistance counseling. The Clinical Therapist I will work closely with the Senior Clinical Development Manager to offer quality therapeutic care and interventions to clients. Who should Apply: Any Master's level Social Worker or Counselor with licensure at the graduate level to include LMSW. You enjoy a flexible work schedule to include the option of seeing clients via telehealth or in person. Hours/Schedule: This role is a part time, hourly (W-2) position. Hours will incorporate at least one 4-hour block in the evening and/or one 4-hour block on the weekends. Schedules are negotiable outside of the evening/weekend 4-hour block. Duties and Responsibilities Facilitate clinical psychotherapy/EAP sessions to start building a 15-20 client session hours/week caseload. Available for at least one (1) in-office day to support in-person client session requests. Provide mental health counseling, substance abuse assessment/referral and EAP services. Maintain case records according to state and ethical requirements. Report child abuse, elder abuse and/or violence as required by ethics and law. Maintain clinical licenses in dedicated states/district. Keep current with CEUs. Respond to all email requests within one business day. Update client information as necessary in the EMR. Attend Practice Meetings and Clinical Meetings. Participate in updating client credit card information in the EMR. Maintain a tidy office environment to include but not limited to, waiting area(s), kitchen, therapy office, administrative space, etc. Maintain a professional and calm work environment to assist with calm climate for the practice. Facilitate therapeutic or educational groups as appropriate. Communicate timely and professionally. Assist Office Staff with Provider Credentialing, Paneling, and attestations/verifications as needed. Support promotion of Focused Solutions’ services. Create positive and professional community relationships with referral and potential referral sources. When requested, attend community and vendor meetings to represent Focused Solutions. Participate in development of program promotion materials as needed. Other duties as needed. . Job Requirements/Qualifications: Ability to work independently. Thorough knowledge of Microsoft 365 Office software package. Thorough knowledge of Adobe Document Sign. Strong interpersonal and written communication skills. Ability to receive coaching and supervision. Ability to communicate with tact and courtesy. Excellent organizational skills. Maintenance of active provisional clinical license. Able to work closely with administrative staff. Ability to lift up to 15 lbs.
