Job Description & Requirements Adult Congenital Heart Disease Cardiologist StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $351000.00 - $458000.00 UT Health Texas Medical Center - Houston seeks an Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) Cardiologist to join a growing team in an Adult Congenital Heart Association-accredited comprehensive care ACHD center. The Center has a team of well-renowned congenital cardiologists, interventionalists, surgeons, imagers, anesthesiologists, and pulmonologists who work collaboratively to manage patients with complex congenital diseases. Opportunity Highlights Inpatient ACHD consultative services in a well-renowned adult cardiovascular program Opportunity to establish an ACHD inpatient service to manage adult congenital heart disease patients Outpatient adult congenital clinics that serve as regional referral centers from the metro Houston area and outlying states Busy and well-established pediatric congenital heart disease program that is consistently ranked by U.S. News & World Report Well respected High-Risk OB services Well-recognized Aortopathy team Large patient panel coming from all over the US and the world for advanced diagnosis and innovative treatments Care for ACHD patients with an end-stage disease requiring heart failure and transplantation Be an active member of the adult congenital heart disease transplant team Interest in ACHD heart failure and transplant and clinical or basic science research will be highly considered Opportunity for flexibility and to participate in teaching activities and other departmental initiatives Community Highlights A leading cultural and culinary destination, Houston is America's fourth-largest city.
