DC Power Technician

**THIS IS A FULL TIME NATION-WIDE TRAVEL POSITION. JOB SUMMARY E-3 Technical Solutions is currently seeking motivated and skilled DC Power Technicians to join our team. As a DC Power Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of DC power systems in telecommunications facilities nationwide. Duties and Responsibilities Perform maintenance and troubleshooting tasks on DC power systems Install and replace batteries, circuits, and power distribution equipment Conduct equipment testing and turn-up procedures Supervise and oversee subcontractor work on-site Implement additions, modifications, or removals to power systems Manage wiring and connections on DC power equipment Lead projects with support from lower-level technicians Safely operate company vehicles and trailers Conduct inspections and audits as needed Analyze job specifications and drawings Communicate effectively with customers throughout project duration Work Environment: May be required to work in a raised floor environment. May be required to work in small crawl spaces and/or shaft ways. May be required to work in facility manholes. May be required to hand dig or trench outside. May be required to work on top of buildings. Must maintain cleanliness and organization of all storage, staging and work areas on-site. Skills/Abilities/Qualifications Willingness to travel extensively (100%) Previous experience in DC power systems maintenance or related field Proficient in written and verbal communication Possess a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance Demonstrate safe driving practices Ability to quickly learn and apply new skills Self-motivated and driven to succeed Excellent time management and documentation skills Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio) Ability to lift/carry up to 80 pounds Safely climb ladders and work at heights Proficient use of industry-specific tools Ability to distinguish colors and fine print accurately Join our team at E-3 Technical Solutions and become part of a leading force in the telecommunications industry.
