Software Engineer

Radiance Technologies is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to support the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) by creating web-based tools that reduce user friction and improve the usability of complex Modeling and Simulation systems. Job Responsibilities Design and implement new capabilities Resolve issues found in existing code Integrate capabilities with external services and tools Participate in code reviews and share knowledge with team members Communicate status and technical details with customers Collaborate directly with the customer to drive requirements Develop solutions based on customer needs and existing points of friction Occasional out-of-state travel required for client events Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience Bachelor's degree in computer science or a relevant STEM field Active TS/SCI security clearance Ability to organize and clearly communicate complex technical details Experience with RESTful web services Experience with server-side languages; preference toward Python and/or C++ Strong preference for modern front-end JavaScript frameworks Experience with version control software (e.g., Git) Experience with bug/issue tracking software such as Jira Desired Experience Experience configuring and deploying web applications using Kubernetes, OKD, and/or Helm Experience with UI design using React Experience creating dashboards to simplify data presentation and navigation Experience with CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitLab CI or Jenkins Experience containerizing web applications with Docker or Podman, involving two or more communicating containers Experience utilizing relational databases to handle large and complex datasets Ability to demonstrate experience via a personal portfolio or open-source contributions EEO Statement Radiance Technologies is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
