The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop strong mathematical reasoning skills, foster a positive learning environment, and support students of varying abilities.Key Responsibilities* Teach high school mathematics courses (e.g., Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, or other courses based on qualifications)* Develop and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lesson plans* Use a variety of instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs* Assess student learning and provide timely, constructive feedback* Maintain a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment* Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff* Communicate effectively with students, parents, and guardians* Participate in professional development, department meetings, and school activitiesQualifications* Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field (Master's preferred)* Valid Montana teaching certification in Mathematics (or eligibility to obtain)* Strong classroom management and communication skills* Commitment to equity, inclusion, and student success* Experience teaching at the high school level preferred, but new teachers are encouraged to applySalary & Benefits* Competitive salary based on experience and education* Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance and retirement planProfessional development and growth opportunities
