Our culture of growth and empathy focuses on your long-term career development while valuing your unique skills and experiences.**Your role and responsibilities**IBM is seeking an HRIT Solution Architect to support federal HR modernization initiatives within the HR & Talent Practice. This senior technical leader will design and architect enterprise HR technology solutions, including cloud‐based platforms, workflow automation, data integrations, and AI‐enabled capabilities. The ideal candidate has deep experience implementing HR systems for federal agencies and can translate business requirements into scalable, secure, compliant technical architectures. Responsibilities include solution design, technical leadership across multi‐workstream transformation programs, oversight of system integrations, technical advisory to federal clients, and ensuring alignment with federal security, data, and architecture standards.Leaders are expected to spend time with their teams and clients and therefore are generally expected to be in the workplace a minimum of three days a week subject to business needs.This position can be performed anywhere in the United States**Required technical and professional expertise**- Minimum 8 to 12 years of experience designing, implementing, and integrating HR technology solutions across platforms such as Workday, Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, PeopleSoft, Cornerstone OnDemand, ServiceNow HRSD, and LMS solutions such as Moodle or similar platforms.- At least 5 to 8 years supporting or delivering HRIT programs for federal agencies, with strong knowledge of federal security requirements, data management practices, cloud architecture, and system integration standards.- Demonstrated experience in business development, including identifying, defining, and shaping HR technology solutions to support growth through new opportunities and strategic partnerships.- Proven experience serving in combined solution architecture and program leadership roles on large‐scale HR technology implementations, with the ability to lead technical teams, partner with functional HR stakeholders, and oversee complex transformation initiatives.- Ability to obtain and maintain required federal security clearances.- Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, and executive‐level advisory skills.**Preferred technical and professional experience**- Experience serving as a lead architect on federal HRIT modernization programs.- Experience with HR system consolidations, migrations, or agency integration initiatives.- Knowledge of AI‐enabled HR technologies, automation, workforce analytics, and skills‐based platforms.- Prior senior‐level consulting experience and familiarity with federal architecture frameworks, cloud environments, and security principles.- Active public trust or higher-level clearance preferred.IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
