If you have a passion for solving complex problems, making an immediate impact on a dynamic, and fast moving, product development team, we’d love to hear from you!What We Need:The Field Engineer (FE) provides technical/logistical support and implement solutions in direct support of customers. You will apply your problem-solving ability, creativity, and technical skills to assist the DoD around the world. The successful candidate will become a DFT representative and subject matter expert of our products, be comfortable with working in austere field conditions while troubleshooting and assembling various electronic components. What You’ll Do:Support field exercises, demonstrations, and system deployments for all DFT systems within the DOD customer base.Act as operational subject matter expert for deploying DFT equipment in relevant mission sets to include base defense, tactical security, force protection, and mission autonomy.Serve as customer facing technical support representative for all DFT equipment to support training, integration, networking, and troubleshooting in the field.Conduct operational and end user testing when not in the field, focusing on usability, applicability, and effectiveness in specific mission sets.Work within the systems engineering group to help develop and tailor DFT solutions to meet customer requirements and needs.Required Skills/Qualifications: 4 or more years of technical field support work experience. Able to obtain SECRET clearance with the ability to obtain higher clearances as needed.Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS to support systems, with travel time up to 50% during certain periods.Preferred Qualifications:Military service preferred (with deployments).Currently holds at least a SECRET clearance with the ability to obtain higher clearances as needed.Experience working closely with product development, systems engineering, and product testing.Experience instructing or facilitating end user training.Experience with basic networking principles such as configuring local networks and designing basic network architectures.Experience with one or more of the following technologies: Video Encoding and Streaming, Mesh Network Radios, Tactical Radar, Computer Vision, Edge Processing, Signal Intelligence, or other similar technologies.Associates degree (or higher).What We Offer:DFT offers a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, vision, 401K w/ company match (immediate vesting), life insurance, short term disability, 3 weeks PTO, 13 company holidays, and much more.
