General Construction Lead or Handyman

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable HandyMan and/or General Construction team lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set to perform various maintenance and repair tasks in residential and commercial settings. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Handyman/Team Lead will ensure that properties are well-maintained, functional, and safe for occupants. Duties Perform general maintenance and repairs on buildings, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks. Conduct routine inspections of premises to identify issues that need attention. Respond promptly to service requests from clients or management. Install fixtures, appliances, and equipment as needed. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during all tasks. Communicate effectively with clients regarding project status and any additional needs. Document completed work and report any major repairs needed. Qualifications Experience in: Plumbing, Electric, Drywall, Painting, Bathroom Remodeling, Kitchen Remodeling, Basement Finishing, Deck Construction, Installing Flooring, Doors, Tile etc... (preferred) Proven experience as a Handy Man or in a similar role is preferred. Strong knowledge of various repair techniques and maintenance practices. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely. Ability to troubleshoot issues effectively and efficiently. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites. Certification in relevant trades (e.g., plumbing, electrical) is a plus but not mandatory.
