Job Title: SDETLocation: Vancouver, Canada or Seattle, WA (Onsite/Hybrid)Type: ContractMandate : Python , automation, Java and Selenium, Data background , Kafka , AWSKey ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications and backend servicesBuild and execute test automation scripts using Python, Java, and SeleniumPerform data validation and testing across large-scale data systemsWork with Kafka streams to validate real-time data processing workflowsCollaborate with development, product, and data engineering teams to ensure high-quality releasesDevelop and execute API and integration testsIdentify, track, and resolve defects across the testing lifecycleEnsure CI/CD integration for automated test executionWork within AWS cloud environments for testing and validationRequired Skills & QualificationsStrong experience as an SDET / Automation Test EngineerProficiency in Python and/or JavaHands-on experience with Selenium for UI automationSolid understanding of test automation frameworksExperience with data testing / data validationFamiliarity with Kafka (event-driven architecture)Experience working with AWS (cloud services)Strong knowledge of API testing (REST/JSON)Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
