If you are looking for a close-knit work family and a place to call home, this opportunity is for you!This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity.Responsibilities of the Family Practice APP:Collaborate with the medical director and supervising physician to deliver primary care commensurate with training to patients 18 and upDeliver care appropriate for an out-patient, primary care community health center with a multicultural, multilingual patient populationWork collaboratively with the interdisciplinary treatment team to provide exceptional patient care.Assist in chronic disease management through individual interventions, clinic support and ongoing education.Work collaboratively with the clinic staff to provide high quality, comprehensive primary care.Ability to provide a variety of services including chronic disease management, physicals, perform Pap smear/women's wellness exams (WWE), routine check-ups, illness treatment, medication management, etc.Qualifications of the Family Practice APP:Current, active, unencumbered Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in state of practiceBoard Certified in Family MedicineStrong, recent experience in Primary Care/Family MedicineRelevant Master's degreeCurrent Texas valid professional license to practice in respective fieldBasic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red CrossBilingual in Spanish a huge plus!Compensation:Compensation starting around $115KHours are Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM with an occasional evening and weekend (Sat 9-1).
