This role requires independent work capability, strong technical expertise, and the ability to support projects in residential, commercial, or industrial environments while maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, equipment, and control systemsRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, electrical drawings, and specificationsEnsure all electrical work complies with NEC, OSHA, and local jurisdiction requirementsPerform troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify electrical issues and implement repairsInstall and connect panels, transformers, motors, lighting systems, and control devicesTest electrical systems and continuity using appropriate testing instrumentsCoordinate work with project managers, foremen, inspectors, and other tradesSupervise and provide guidance to apprentices when assignedDocument work performed, materials used, and any changes to plansMaintain tools, equipment, and jobsite cleanlinessFollow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout protocols, and company policiesSpecialized Experience RequiredStrong knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and code requirementsAbility to read technical drawings and electrical schematicsProficient with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipmentAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionSpecialized Experienced PreferredExperience in commercial or industrial electrical workExperience with low-voltage systems, fire alarm, or control systemsOSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certificationCPR/First Aid trainingExperience working on active construction sitesQualificationsEducation and/or Skills Required: Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience Completion of an accredited electrical apprenticeship programEducation And/or Skills Preferred Highschool Diploma/GED Certificates, Licenses, And/or Registrations Required Valid Driver’s License Valid Journeyman Electrician license (state or local, as applicable) Ability to maintain required certifications. Pre-employment drug screening and background check are conditions of employment. Motor vehicle checks may be required based upon position.
