Speech Language Pathologist

Job title SLP - Speech TherapistJob location: Morristown, NY 07960Shift: Mon-Fri 8a-4pmPay:$48 -$52/hr without benefitsContract: 3-month assignment, possible extension Certifications:Current NJ ST License.Graduate of an accredited speech and language program with a minimum of a Master’s degree. Job Summary:Minimum of one (1) year of experience in acute, subacute or home care setting.Perform patient assessments and evaluate needs, progress, and abilities.Develop and update care plans with patient, family, and physician.Ensure a safe environment and follow infection control measures.Implement treatment programs, therapy services, and exercises per physician orders.Restore function and support patients in achieving maximum functional status.Provide discharge planning and communicate with clinical teams.Use appropriate teaching methods and document patient education.Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and documentation standards.Manage case responsibilities and maintain service utilization and productivity.Follow scheduling, participate in team meetings, and prioritize patient needs.Travel for home visits and meet scheduling and time-off requirements.Support training, cross-training, and additional assigned duties.
