The Autocad Designer will produce and revise detailed architectural and construction drawings, floor plans, and layouts using AutoCAD and related design tools. Daily responsibilities include interpreting design concepts, coordinating with architects, engineers, and project managers, and ensuring drawings comply with codes, standards, and client specifications. The role also involves space planning, preparing drawing sets for permitting and construction, maintaining drawing libraries, and supporting design reviews and redline updates. The Autocad Designer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines and quality expectations.Qualifications Strong proficiency in architectural drawings, construction drawings, and technical drawing production.Experience with space planning, including floor layouts, furniture plans, and efficient use of interior spaces.Effective communication skills to collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.Proficiency in AutoCAD (and similar CAD tools); familiarity with Revit or other BIM software is a plus.Working knowledge of building codes, standards, and construction practices.Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Prior experience in commercial, corporate, or institutional design projects is preferred.
