Control Panel Assembler

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Control Panel Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, construction, and installation of control panels and electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical engineering and will be proficient in working with a variety of electrical components and tools. Duties - Design and build control panels and electrical systems for industrial and commercial applications - Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand electrical and mechanical systems - Install and test control panels and electrical systems to ensure they are functioning correctly - Perform electrical wiring and connections using power tools and hand tools - Fabricate and assemble PCBs using surface mount technology and soldering techniques - Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems as needed - Utilize logic controllers to program and integrate electrical systems - Work with a variety of materials, including metals, plastics, and glass - Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to complete projects efficiently - Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment Requirements - Proven experience in control panel design and construction - Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems - Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools - Experience with electrical wiring and connections - Familiarity with PCBs and surface mount technology - Ability to solder and fabricate electrical components - Knowledge of logic controllers and their applications - Experience with schematics and blueprints - Physical ability to lift and carry heavy objects and stand for extended periods - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills - High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour Work Location: In person
