Maintenance Technician

Job Title: Maintenance Technician Location: Rochester, NYSummary: Nesco Resource is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support a manufacturing facility in Rochester, NY. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, as well as supporting production equipment and facility operations. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong hands-on experience looking to grow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Pay Rate:$19.00 – $26.00/HourShift:Monday – Thursday | 3:15 PM – 1:45 AMOn-call every 4th weekendKey Responsibilities:Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systemsDiagnose and repair electro-mechanical equipment issuesPerform equipment disassembly, repair, and reassemblySupport production equipment setup and operationAssist operators with troubleshooting and equipment issuesPerform facility maintenance including light electrical, plumbing, and general upkeepConduct routine inspections and preventative maintenanceAssist engineering with installation, testing, and validation of equipmentBuild fixtures and machine attachments as neededOperate equipment such as forklifts, lifts, and snow removal equipmentMaintain safe and compliant work practicesQualifications:High School Diploma or GED required3–5 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic systemsManufacturing experience preferred (flexible packaging a plus)Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritiesStrong communication and teamwork skillsMechanical aptitude and hands-on experienceWork Environment & Physical Requirements:Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and moving equipmentRequires standing, bending, lifting, and working with toolsPPE required including safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety shoesExposure to hot/humid conditions at timesNesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
