Assistant Office Manager
Our busy commercial plumbing company is seeking an experienced and dependable Office Manager/Bookkeeper to manage our oneperson office. If you are a detailoriented professional who thrives in an independent role and enjoys supporting a fastpaced construction business, we encourage you to apply.Key Responsibilities• Manage daily office operations, including phones, emails, scheduling, and document organization• Perform construction-related bookkeeping tasks:o Accounts payable and receivableo Vendor billingo Job-cost trackingo Weekly and monthly reconciliations• Prepare invoices and quotes• Maintain compliance documentation (certificates of insurance, W9s, permits, insurance renewals, etc.)• Coordinate professionally with contractors, suppliers, and clients• Maintain accurate digital and physical recordkeeping systems• Provide administrative support to the business owner as neededPreferred Qualifications• Experience in a construction office or similar trade environment• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel• Familiarity with job costing, AIA billing, and lien waivers• Excellent communication and organizational skills• Ability to work independently and manage a changing workload• High level of accuracy, professionalism, and confidentialityWhat We Offer• Competitive pay based on experience• Steady and supportive work environment• Health insurance and 401(k) benefits
