Controls Technician - 2nd Shift
Shift: 3:00 PM-11:30 PMHourly Rate: $0.00 an hour + $.65 shift differentialReporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will support manufacturing operations by installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving automated control systems. You will focus on programmable logic controllers, human machine interfaces, batch management systems, and field devices to maintain reliable equipment performance, reduce downtime, and support safe and compliant operations.A Taste of Your ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, and commission programmable logic controllers, human machine interfaces, and related control hardwareProgram and modify batch management systems, including adding or editing recipesPerform preventative and corrective maintenance on automated control systemsTroubleshoot and diagnose control system issues onsite and remotelyRepair or replace sensors, actuators, valves, motor drives, and related componentsCalibrate and test instruments to confirm accurate and reliable operationMonitor batch processes and system parameters to confirm proper performanceMaintain accurate maintenance, calibration, and configuration documentationFollow safety procedures, support regulatory compliance, and serve as a technical resource to othersIngredients Required for Your Success2+ years of experience with industrial programmable logic controllers or a comparable combination of education and experienceExperience programming and troubleshooting programmable controllersPhysical RequirementsMore information on the essential tasks and facility will be shared during the hiring process.
