Senior Fax Platform Engineer

Job Title: Senior Fax Platform Engineer (Contract) Overview Our Fortune 10 healthcare insurance client is seeking a highly technical Senior Fax Platform Engineer to support enterprise fax modernization initiatives. This role will primarily focus on a large-scale migration to eFax (Consensus Cloud Solutions), while also supporting a hybrid RightFax environment. The engineer will operate in a fast-paced, small team environment requiring both project execution and operational incident response. Key Responsibilities Lead and support migration onto eFax (Consensus Cloud Solutions) Administer and optimize cloud-based fax platforms (eFax preferred; Concord, SRFax acceptable) Support hybrid RightFax environment (on-prem + RightFax Connect cloud telephony) Collaborate with internal teams to integrate fax services with enterprise applications Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation, monitoring, and reporting Troubleshoot fax delivery issues, platform outages, and routing failures Participate in incident response and production support in a small team environment Ensure high availability and redundancy across fax platforms Contribute to system performance tuning and scalability improvements Required Qualifications 7+ years of experience in fax systems, platform administration, or related engineering roles Hands-on experience with cloud fax platforms (eFax strongly preferred) Experience with RightFax or similar enterprise fax systems Strong PowerShell scripting experience Experience administering SaaS platforms Solid understanding of network architecture and connectivity Ability to operate in both project and production support environments Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Experience working in healthcare or regulated environments is a plus Preferred Skills Experience with AWS-hosted SaaS platforms (no direct infrastructure management required) Exposure to telephony protocols (T.38, SIP) and fax transport Experience with enterprise integration patterns Familiarity with compliance frameworks (HIPAA, FedRAMP) Work Environment Contract Duration: 12 months (potential extension to 24 months) Hours: Must support East Coast business hours (8:00 AM EST start common) Location: Prefer East Coast candidates (remote flexibility with aligned hours Team Structure: Small team requiring flexibility and shared ownership during outages Key Traits for Success Highly adaptable and able to shift between project work and incident response Team-oriented mindset in a high-urgency environment Ability to ramp quickly and deliver value in a complex enterprise setting Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration Disclaimer: Brooksource, Medasource, and Calculated Hire are part of the Eight Eleven Group family of companies and operate under Eight Eleven Group, LLC.
