About the Role:
Physical Therapist
The Physical Therapist position will develop and deliver physical therapy services to clients in the 805 infant education programs for ages 12 months - 3 years old by assessing, program planning and utilizing researched based methods. The Physical Therapist will provide functional supervision of treatment and parent consultation to ensure progress is being made. Must be CPR/First Aid Certified, TB Clearance, pass Livescan/background check
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Assess, develop and recommend services based on the needs of the client
Provide Physical Therapy services on an individual basis
Audit cases for treatment effectiveness
Attend planned treatment meetings with all teams involved with individual cases
Provide support to any individual cases upon request
Communicates with HRC
Document each session
Continue to evaluate and report goals
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
1 year experience as a PT
Graduation from an approved School of Physical Therapy
Certification the Board of Physical Therapy or eligible for the certification
All necessary state licensure
1 year of pediatric experience
1 year working with developmental disabilities
