IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Campus Executive Chef & Graceland Inn General ManagerSTATUS: Full-Time or Part-TimeFLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt, hourlyJOB SUMMARY: Responsible for thoroughly cleaning all dishes, silverware, and other items under strict sanitary conditions.DUTIES:Run dishes and silverware through dish machine following proper procedures. Clean and maintain certain equipment and areas as designated by management. Keep dish room clean at all times.Keep sufficient supply of China, silverware, trays, cups, and glasses during service periods.Clean dish machine after each meal.· Sweep and mop dish room floor at the end of each day, and empty mop bucket. De-lime the dish machine once a week.Soak and scrub-stained cups weekly.Exercise extreme precaution and carefully follow instructions and procedures when using chemicals.Follow cleaning schedule and using "clean as you go" techniques.Maintain an open line of communication with management, informing them of products and supplies needed.Follow the uniform dress code and maintain proper personal hygiene.Assist fellow associates at every opportunity. Perform any other duties as assigned by management.PREREQUISITES / EDUCATION:* Previous kitchen experience preferred, but not requiredPHYSICAL DEMANDS:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
