Job Description Senior Commercial Relationship ManagerLocation: Birmingham, ALSalary: $120,000 – $140,000 + Bonus + BenefitsAbout the OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Commercial Relationship Manager to join a growing banking team in the Birmingham, Alabama market. This role is ideal for a motivated banking professional with an established book of business and strong experience in commercial lending, business development, and relationship management.The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing commercial banking relationships, growing loan and deposit portfolios, and identifying opportunities to expand business within the community while maintaining sound credit quality and minimizing risk.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage a portfolio of commercial loan and deposit relationshipsGenerate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, prospecting, and community involvementBuild and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients and business partnersIdentify client financial needs and recommend appropriate banking products and servicesMeet or exceed commercial loan growth, deposit growth, and profitability goalsConduct client meetings, business development calls, and site visits with prospective and existing customersAnalyze financial information and assist with credit structuring and underwriting processesPartner with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and efficient loan processingMaintain compliance with all bank policies, lending regulations, and risk management standardsRepresent the bank at community events, networking functions, and business organizationsQualificationsBachelor’s degree preferredMinimum of 3+ years of banking experience in commercial, consumer, mortgage, or SBA lending/business developmentProven success in business development and portfolio growth within a banking environmentExisting book of business and strong local market connections preferredStrong knowledge of commercial banking products and servicesCredit analysis and underwriting experience preferredExcellent communication, relationship-building, and sales skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, and PublisherSeries 7 and 63 licenses are a plusWhat We OfferCompetitive base salaryPerformance-based bonus opportunitiesComprehensive benefits packageCareer growth and advancement opportunitiesSupportive and collaborative work environmentIf you are a relationship-focused banking professional with a passion for business development and commercial lending, we encourage you to apply.Company Description Avery Partners collaborates with businesses all over the US to help streamline their hiring processes.
