Job Responsibilities: Patient Treatment: Provide care to patients under the direction of the Physical Therapist. Documentation: Maintain accurate daily treatment notes and weekly progress reports in compliance with PT Board requirements. Department Maintenance: Help keep the therapy department organized and the treatment areas clean. Patient Care Participation: Attend Patient Care and Rehabilitation Conferences as necessary. Treatment Execution: Deliver patient care based on physician treatment plans, effectively communicating patient progress to the healthcare team. Equipment Reporting: Report any issues with departmental equipment to ensure proper maintenance and functionality. Family Education: Educate patients' families and nursing staff on care maintenance programs and provide caregiver training before patient discharge. Required License or Certification: Valid Physical Therapist Assistant License in good standing.
