Brand Advocate Analyst
Brand Advocate AnalystOverviewThe Brand Advocate Analyst will be responsible for analyzing the brand's online performance and for identifying opportunities for improvement with product findability, product specifications, assets, cross-merchandising etc. This role will also be responsible for understanding customer behavior, building strategic plans, and leading presentations with supplier and merchandising partners to gain alignment on planned initiatives. The Brand Advocate Analyst will cultivate strong partnerships with merchants, cross functional partners and strategic suppliers to drive traffic, conversion, and sales through content optimization, process improvement and analytics. In addition to promoting brand growth and online optimizations, the Brand Advocate Analyst will contribute to continuously improving processes, enabling the team to deliver high quality product experiences and increase sales for their assigned brand(s) and for our business.Responsibilities• The Brand Advocate will build strong business relationships with suppliers to analyze and improve online key metrics through identifying opportunities and taking action on optimizations needed • The Brand Advocate will also be responsible for understanding customer behavior, executing strategic plans and participating in presentations with supplier and merchandising partners to gain alignment on planned initiatives • Identify process improvement opportunities that will optimize effectiveness • Build reports and analyze KPI reporting on product performance, specification fill rates, asset engagement, assortment and competitive gaps/opportunities • Create optimization action plans and lead performance presentations for monthly, quarterly and annual resultsQualifications• 2+ years of experience in e-commerce, marketing, product content management, data management or merchandising • 2+ years of strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to tell a story and make a recommendation • 2+ years of intermediate proficiency in Word, Excel, Power Point, Adobe Analytics and other reporting toolsCompetencies:• Action Oriented • Collaborates • Drives Engagement • Manages Complexity • Communicates Effectively • Drives Results • Manages Conflict • Builds RelationshipsPosition PurposeDrive a strategic supplier’s online performance and brand growth by identifying opportunities within their product assortment, analyzing product findability, specifications, assets, cross-merchandising, and customer behavior. Lead junior analysts to ensure effective optimizations for assigned brands, collaborating across teams to enhance the brand’s online presence and customer experience.Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities• Analyzes competitive, internal, site behavior, and post-transaction data to collaborate with assigned brands, merchandising, and stakeholders, identifying and acting on key opportunities to enhance the customer experience across the brand assortment. • Acts as a brand ambassador, identifying opportunities to improve brand representation and data content on the site through tactical execution and cross-functional collaboration. • Develops and implements strategic plans based on data analysis, aligned with brand and merchant goals. • Leads presentations and communications with supplier and merchant partners to ensure alignment on planned initiatives. • Drives continuous optimization and process improvements to enhance overall performance.Preferred Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in a related field. • 3+ years of e-commerce, brand marketing, or merchandising experience preferred. • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Analytics, and other reporting tools. • Advanced analytical and technical aptitude with web-based tools.
