Job DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARYResponsible for operating machines used to wash and/or degrease heat transfer unit products.BenefitsPay based on skills and experience ($19-$23 / hour)$2.00 2nd shift differentialHealth Insurance plus Dental & Vision coverage401KTuition Reimbursement ProgramEssential Duties And ResponsibilitiesOperate degrease machines used to clean and remove oil from partsDrain, clean, and refill machines or tanks at designated intervals, using cleaning solutions or waterMeasure, weigh, or mix cleaning solutions, using measuring tanks, calibrated rods, and/or suction tubsComplete all required paperworkPerform minor machine maintenance as required or directedEnsure work area is kept clean and always organizedInspect and record quality requirements of finished workpiecesKnowledge, understanding, and compliance with Company policies and proceduresProvide feedback to management concerning possible problems or areas of improvement.Participate in cross training throughout manufacturing facilityUse all safety devices/tools to ensure safe operation of machinesWear required PPE (respirator)All other duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or technical school diploma or equivalent in relevant work experience preferredAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw and apply valid conclusionsAbility to maintain accurate records required for production and qualityBasic mathematical skills requiredAbility to be cross- trained throughout manufacturing facilityAbility to work in a team-fostered environmentCompany OverviewBoyd is the world's leading innovator in sustainable engineered material and thermal solutions that make our customers’ products better, safer, faster, and more reliable.
